I am introverted and so I was always intimidated going to the gym and group sessions. Now, I've gained a lot of flexibility and am able to do difficult poses. I feel like my body is accepting all the new things I'm doing. All the credit goes to the teachers because they take you through a journey!
Because of knee injuries and surgery, I was not able to sit down or squat down. I wasn't able to do anything. I was constantly in pain. Now I can sit down continuously cross-legged and I can see the benefits of yoga for issues like these. And I lost 20 lbs over the last year. I'm sticking with My Yoga Teacher forever!
It's meeting a need that I don't think I just have, but yogis in the West have - the opportunity to study with people from India. The instructors care about what's happening to me. It feels like the best money I've ever spent!... The quality of these teachers, they are just SO good!
